Outrun the FBI 5K run/walk & 1-mile fun walk!

to SHUT DOWN Internet predators!

Where else can you outrun an officer of the law for a worthy cause? Join us at this family-friendly, interactive running/walking event where you race against Phoenix FBI agents for special prizes! Every participant who registers before Oct. 27, 2008 receives a free, limited edition Outrun the FBI 5K t-shirt. After you cross the finish line, enjoy food, music and family-friendly activities, including demonstrations by Phoenix FBI agents and free National Child ID fingerprinting kits. Special FBI merchandise will also be available for purchase (CASH ONLY).

Awards will be given for different age categories, including special prizes for those who successfully "outrun the FBI." Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Steele Indian School Park, and take pride in knowing your registration fee helps fight crime. Proceeds support state-wide programs to help SHUT DOWN Internet predators.

Time:                   Check-in, warm-up and music start at 7 am
                                5K Run/walk & 1-mile fun walk start at 8 am

Why:                      Fun, exercise, and to benefit state-wide programs to SHUT DOWN Internet predators

Cost:                      5K run/walk (individual):

$25/adult, $15/child (13 & under)

5K run/walk (team members):

$20/adult, $10/child (13 & under)

1-mile fun walk:

$15/person (children under 8 may accompany an adult free of charge)

PLEASE NOTE: After Oct. 31, 2008 all prices increase by $5/person, and t-shirt availability may be limited for those registering after Oct. 26, 2008

Teams: Teams must have at least 5 people, and at least one must be age 14 or older. Team uniforms are encouraged - the more team spirit the better!

Prizes: Awards will be given for 1^st place overall (m/f); 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd place (m/f) in each age 5-yr. age bracket; biggest team; fastest team (based on team members’ average time)

PLUS: everyone who “outruns the FBI” gets a special prize!

DOUBLE PLUS: every registrant gets a free ticket for our raffle to win fabulous prizes!.
